Will or Rohan will ring you the same day, and be on site the same or next day with a fixed quote in hand. No ghosting, no two-week wait, no chasing.
Same-day callback. Will or Rohan will ring you today.
If you've chased three quotes and only heard back from one, you already know the market's broken. Here's what actually goes wrong.
You ring four contractors, two never call back, one sends a quote three weeks later, and the last one wants to start in spring.
Most failed retaining walls fail because the footings weren't deep enough. A 900mm wall needs a 350mm footing minimum. Cutting that corner is why walls lean within two years.
Water pressure is what pushes walls over. If the old material hasn't been dug out and a drainage system installed behind the new wall, it's a matter of when, not if. On every Fuze build, the original soil comes out and a drainage aggregate plus agg pipe goes in — water moves out, not into, the back of the wall.
Fence on top by a different crew, footings by a subbie, wall by someone else. When it leans or cracks, everyone points at each other.
Fuze Retaining Walls is a four-man crew (soon to be five), run by Will and Rohan out of the Gold Coast. Every job they book, one of them is on site checking it. Every lead that comes in, one of them rings you.
Will and Rohan built this business on the shovel. They still quote every job and check every build.
350mm footings. Old material removed behind the wall. Drainage system in. Concrete with steel posts. Zero shortcuts.
Every wall they've built is still standing and still straight. Ask for photos, ask for addresses.
Works alongside a licensed landscaper for QBCC sign-off where required. In the process of bringing a full building licence in-house.
Either Will or Rohan will ring you the same day. One of them will be on site the same or next day.
Fuze specialises in retaining walls under a meter high — which covers about 90% of what Gold Coast homes actually need. Side boundaries, garden tiers, driveway edges, pool surrounds, under-fence walls.
Walls over a meter need engineering drawings, council paperwork, and a builder's licence to sign off. That's a different job with a different process — and honestly, it's rigmarole we'd rather not put you through.
If your wall is over a meter, we can still build it — but the engineering is easier to sort as the homeowner direct. We'll guide you through it. If it's under a meter, we handle the whole thing end to end.
Will came out the same day we enquired, quoted the next morning, and the wall was built in three days. Drainage is better than the original. Straight up, one of the easiest trade experiences we've had.
Got three quotes for a side-boundary wall. Will and Rohan were the only ones who actually turned up to site. Ended up being the middle price but easily the best job of the three. Fence on top done at the same time.
Used concrete sleepers with steel posts on a 40-metre garden wall. Will walked through exactly how the footings and drainage would work. Two years in, dead straight, no movement. Worth every dollar.
No chasing, no guessing. Here's exactly how it works from the moment you hit submit.
Takes 60 seconds. Tells us where you are, how big the wall is, and your rough budget.
Quick chat about access, slope, drainage. Book a time to come look at site.
One of them walks the job with you, talks through materials, and asks the questions that actually matter.
Clear line items — wall, drainage, excavation, fencing if packaged. No surprises on invoice day.

Anything from a small garden wall through to a full boundary build. Most of our work sits in the $10,000 to $30,000 range, but we take on smaller jobs too when the timing suits. Fill in the form with your rough budget and Will or Rohan will come look at it.
We focus on walls under a meter because that's what most Gold Coast homes actually need. If your wall is over a meter, we can still build it, but the engineering sign-off is easier to sort as the homeowner. We'll walk you through it.
Yes. A lot of our clients package both together so one team handles it start to finish. Means no finger-pointing if something ever needs looking at later.
Depends on the job, but we recommend concrete sleepers with galvanised steel posts where we can. Timber sleepers rot — typically 10–15 years before they need replacing. Concrete with steel posts lasts decades and often outlives the house. The price difference is usually smaller than people expect, and it saves a full replacement down the track.
We work alongside a licensed landscaper who provides QBCC sign-off on work that requires it. We're also in the process of bringing a full builder's licence in-house. Happy to walk you through the paperwork on any specific job.
